Volunteers are essential in maintaining and beautifying our public greenspaces/gardens. All of Wylde Center gardens are heavily visited 365 days per year and we want to make sure everything looks great on each visit. Your role: Volunteers will learn about how the greenhouse works and participate in hands-on plant nursery activities. Anyone under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Please wear clothing you are comfortable getting dirty and bring water. Our Plant Nursery offers plants to our community as well as providing free and reduced cost plants for schools, non-profits, & local community gardens. Organized by Wylde Center. Tips: Plant Market Location: 435 Oakview Rd., Decatur, GA 30030 Parking: Please park on the street clear of driveways and mailboxes. A Greenspaces Team Member will meet you at the back picnic tables. *Court Ordered Volunteers: The Wylde Center accepts court-ordered volunteers on a case-by-case basis. Prior approval is required.
