About
Good Samaritan is a friendly, welcoming place. We try to provide each family enough food for 14 days.
There's no judgement here, we're all people. We want customers to feel good about their visit to the food pantry. Your role: Our pantry is a grocery store, customers pick out what they want. We sort donations, display food, help shop, carry out and try to make people happy. Daily deliveries come from Atlanta Community Food Bank, supermarkets, individuals and businesses. Good Samaritan food pantry simulates a grocery store where 120 families a day come for food.
Mon - Fri, 8:30a - 1:00p
Tue and Thurs evening, 4:30p - 7:30p. Organized by Good Samaritan Center Douglasville. Tips: Wear comfortable shoes. When arriving for the volunteer shift, come to the glass door on the side of the building.
