Protect and restore the parks ecosystem by removing invasive species. Beautification through trash clean up. Come together as a community to help improve and maintain a park. Your role: Volunteers will work on removing invasive Japanese Honeysuckle, Privet, and English Ivy plus trash pickup. Friends of Gresham Park and Gresham Guardians will be removing Japanese Honeysuckle, Privet, and English Ivy plus pick up trash along the Michelle Obama Trail. Organized by Park Pride. • Parking instructions: in the parking lot of the rec center
• Attire requirements: Weather appropriate clothing, but long sleeves, pants, boots, and clothes you don't mind getting dirty are always recommended. Bring mask if easily irritated by dust.
• Bring a water bottle, sunscreen, bugspray, hat, EpiPen/medication
• Look up what privet, Japanese honeysuckle, and English ivy looks like
