About
Volunteers in our Food Pharmacy or Teaching Kitchen will be directly addressing food insecurity for Grady's most vulnerable by providing patients and their families with healthy foods and assisting with the participant's culinary education. Your role: Volunteers will assist in the daily operations of sorting, packing, and distributing food directly to patients in the Food Pharmacy (Wed) and / or assisting with food prep and clean up for cooking classes in the Teaching Kitchen (Tue-Sat). Volunteer at Jesse Hill Market in our Food Pharmacy to address food insecurity by providing healthy foods for Grady patients. Organized by Grady Health System - Food as Medicine. Tips: Thank you for signing up to volunteer! If you are aged 14-16 you will need an adult to accompany you. All volunteers from 14-17 will need a parent or guardian to sign the waiver. If this is your first time volunteering at this location, please email your completed Volunteer Form to Kierra Martin at kmartin10@gmh.edu. We look forward to working with you!
