Do you have a passion for helping those in need? This opportunity allows for participants to take part in bringing hope to individuals and families who have limited access to transportation and who are struggling to make ends meet. Your role: You will deliver prescription medications to clients' homes. NO SAME DAY SIGN-UP AFTER 10AM. 10AM is cut-off to sign-up, as we need time to plan delivery routes. Thanks! The Saint Vincent de Paul Georgia Community Pharmacy needs your help delivering maintenance medications to our clients throughout the Atlanta-Metro area. Organized by St. Vincent de Paul Georgia. Tips: First time volunteers must confirm by phone or email the day prior to volunteering- so we can plan your delivery routes. If you need to cancel on the same day that you are scheduled to volunteer, please contact Meghan King at 678-892-6187 or mking@svdpgeorgia.org by 10am. Volunteers must provide their own transportation and gas. When you arrive, our receptionist will direct you to our pharmacy where you will sign in. A member of the pharmacy team will direct you through your assigned route and will provide you with the clients' medications. Requirements: Valid driver's license At least 18 years of age Able to climb stairs We DO accept court ordered community service requests as long as the charge related to the community service need is not a drug, violent, theft, or sex offense. COVID-19 GUIDELINES We recommend that ALL St. Vincent de Paul volunteers wear masks in the building and when in contact with clients. ALL St. Vincent de Paul volunteers will be provided with gloves, hand washing stations, and hand sanitizer if needed.
