Volunteers are essential in maintaining and beautifying the public greenspaces/gardens. All of the Wylde Center gardens are heavily visited 365 days per year and we want to make sure everything looks great on each visit. Your role: Volunteer activities may include weeding, watering, mulching, composting, and sowing. Garden care fluctuates seasonally. Make sure to wear appropriate clothing, closed toe shoes, and to bring water. Sugar Creek is meant to serve as a model for urban farming on unbuildable land and features pockets of pollinators, medicinal herbs, and community garden beds. Organized by Wylde Center. Tips: Sugar Creek Garden Location: 415 East Lake Dr, Decatur, GA 30030 Parking: Limited parking in church parking lot, ample street parking in nearby neighborhood. *Court Ordered Volunteers: The Wylde Center accepts court-ordered volunteers on a case-by-case basis. Prior approval is required.
