Work alongside fellow gardeners as you help build and maintain this educational garden that will provide everything native pollinators need to thrive. Your role: You'll dig, weed & mulch to keep the garden in good shape. No experience is necessary. *This volunteer opportunity is appropriate for ages 8+ *Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult *This opportunity cannot fulfill court-ordered hours Help prep and maintain the Pollinator Pocket garden to be located at River Line Park in Smyrna. Organized by Keep Smyrna Beautiful. Tips: Thank you for signing up to help maintain the Pollinator Pocket! *This volunteer opportunity is typically appropriate for ages 8+. (NOTE: The Feb. 7 work day will primarily be manual labor, so we request ages 12+ for this day.) *Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult *This opportunity cannot fulfill court-ordered hours River Line is a busy park, so you may have to park and walk a bit. The future garden site is located to the right of the road when you enter the park, across from the splash pad. Weeding tools and gloves will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer. Additional details may be sent out 1-3 days prior to the date you signed up for.
