Every other Thursday from 1-5p, the good people of McClesky East Cobb Y's Hunger Relief Program meet at Green Acres Baptist Church to distribute 18k lbs (or 9 tons) of food. They would love our help!
1-3p duties include unwrapping and unpacking of pallets getting everything ready for pick up which begins at 3p. There is a lot of hauling and heavy lifting during these first 2 hours, so bring your muscles and a back brace.
3-5p is food distribution time and duties include distributing the food to members of the community as they drive through for pick up.
Come for the 1st shift, come for the 2nd shift or come for both. Many hands make for light work.
