Volunteers help ensure that Atlanta pet owners facing financial hardship can continue caring for their animals in their homes by delivering free pet food directly to their homes. This role involves picking up packaged pet food here at Open Hand, driving assigned routes, and offering a friendly, reliable connection to community members who depend on this support to keep their pets healthy and fed. This will also help reduce shelter overcrowding by keeping pets with their people. This volunteer opportunity is in partnership with LifeLine Animal Project Pets for Life program. Must be able to lift 15 pounds. This is a great opportunity for delivery with a friend or with family.
Age requirement: 21 or above.
