Volunteers generate the energy that drives community. They exemplify engagement, keep plants and ecosystems thriving, offer a variety of unique skillsets, and foster overall community garden success through beautification and shared opportunity. Your role: Participants might be weeding, spreading mulch, transplanting, harvesting, assisting with maintenance in areas like beds, chicken coops, and compost bins. Participants may also help with special projects or share skills with the community. This event offers engagement in a number of garden and community projects. Weed, mulch, plant, harvest, maintenance, share skills, and help with projects. Organized by Wylde Center. Tips: Please wear long pants, close-toed shoes (no sandals), and a wide-brimmed hat (if sunny day). Please bring a water bottle. Gloves and tools will be provided. When you arrive, if we're not in the garden, come find us inside the building.
