Your role: Volunteers will support in: Garden- planting, clearing, and mulching Community clean-up - Trash collections and removals Trail & Habitat restoration and beautification Volunteers will support with trail beautification & green space maintenance of our 26 acre stewarded forest. Tips: Here's what you need to know before you arrive: Service Details Location: Outdoor Activity Center — 1442 Richland Rd SW, Atlanta, GA 30310 Parking is limited; we encourage ridesharing or parking along the fence side of the street near the center/garden. Service Shift: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM (approx. 3 hours) Lead: Maurice/ WAWA ES Staff member Service Tasks: Outdoor beautification support, invasive removal, and native restoration What to Bring & Expect Work gloves and tools will be provided. Bring a refillable water bottle as part of our ZERO WASTE initiative. We recommend bringing snacks or a light lunch. This experience is primarily outdoors. For COVID‑19 safety, we encourage volunteers to bring their own masks, reusable bottles, snacks, and hand sanitizer. Supplies will be available if needed. Dress Code Please dress comfortably and appropriately for the weather. Forecast: partly cloudy/ sun; high of 60 degrees. We recommend long pants, long sleeves, closed‑toe shoes, and a coat, as the area may be muddy and conditions may change. Upon arrival, please submit your completed and signed waiver.
